BOTTA19810 , the Samsung K9G8GO8UOM is a 8Gigabit (1GigaByte) memory chip. So your player originally was hacked to show 4GB rather than 1GB.

But anyway, if MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool does not recognise your player, then you'll need to follow the Dead Player Recovery guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/1-vt567.html

If your player is detected by MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool, then you'll need to try all the v9.xx firmwares for your screen size here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would function with your player, you'll need to try all of them until you get one working. Good luck.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
