stefan121 , what you are experiencing is perfectly normal.

When you connect your player via USB, the player's removable drive would appear.
The moment you click on Menu to start the player, it is normal for the player to disconnect from the computer, so the drive disappears from your computer.
But if you press and hold the Play button to turn the player off, it would again connect back to the computer.

So basically, you can't operate the player and have the connectivity with the computer present at the same time. It is only one at a time.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
