Appreciate its not on main topic, but it would be REALLY helpful if you could take s1clone image & upload it - visually this player looks exact same as my semi-dead one.
Go to
www.s1clone.de & download tool from there, then after you have image upload to megaupload.com or similar & post link to this site. Also, please can you post the version of firmware it has, (in settings on player) & if it were to have a firmware file on the CD (v unlikely!), post that too.
What (pixel) resolution did it claim the screen was?
