Re: Choosing which MP4/5 PMP player?
I have #1 and had one very similar to #3, though bear in mind these units can come from more than one mfg but look the same. #1 is a nice unit, takes a standard SD card and plays NES games (not sNES) picture quality from the camera is not great(maybe a 6?) , video a little better. Controls have good feel for games and movie playback is very smooth and good quality.
The slide is a nice feature. Video out works for video but not games :-(. At least on my unit. Didn't try A/V in but I'll let you know. You can change the main screen background to whatever you like, even take a still and use it immediately. :-). Don't pay more than $75
#3
No NES but does have games in it. Camera picture quality pretty good, (for CMOS) video very good. Better quality screen I think. Smooth rounded shape slips easily into your pocket. Nice-looking unit. Calendar function and some other little tweaks that escape me. Don't pay more than $80
Hope this helps. I can pretty much guarantee you'll like whichever one you get...for a while. Then you'll start looking to upgrade. That's just the way it works. ;-)
