Voilą, now plug in your player, and do the installation procedure as I mentioned in my last post with this new AdfuUpdate.inf file
Now you will get an "ADFU Device" and you can user the "mp3 Player Utilities 4.05" (The "Upgrade Tool") and upgrade this firmware :

Begin with version 3, this should work. after upgrading, unplug your player, insert the battery and then turn him on. the hourglass will show up and you have to wait for 1 or 2 minutes !! until the player boots with the new firmware for the first time !

your player works again, you now have to format him in windows and you will see your real amount of memory !! I guess, 2GB
