currently I am in Shanghai, China.
Last Sunday I bought two IPOD 8GB ( FW Wilson 9.1.52) player at a shop in Old Shanghai road. Later I checked the players by up - download some files. The files became corrupt and none of the file was readable neither with the player nor with the notebook.
Then I found this community and applied the suggested WA "formating the player" with the tool but only 100MB remains on both player !
I went back to the shop and got two new player. This time I checked the the shop. No further problems even after they were re-formatted
The lady there told that this is a known problem of such fake IPOD !!!
BTW. On the delivered CD I found a link to a webside where some tools / download s are available for such players:
www.gojoin.cn. It's in Chinese characters but with the help of translation add-on for Firefox it is possible to translate.
