There are more hacked 4GB player than 2GB players on average.

I can't say 100% that it's a real 2GB just by looking at the photo. The only way to really know is by formatting it and having looking at the memory chip instead.
Some things to note:
- Firstly check the seller's FEEDBACK. As a seller, he only has SIX positive feedback though which makes me wonder.
- The seller has been registered since November 2006 which is a positive sign. A clear give away of a scammer is someone who has little feedback and has only just joined recently. Generally this is because they probably have been caught out and created a new eBay account.
- Have a look on: http://www.toolhaus.org as well and search for the user's eBay ID there.
- Have a look in the Bad sellers/Blacklist section of the forum on this site as well.
There are more things to consider but these would be the first ones to look at.
