Try this:
- Right mouse click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop in Windows.
- Choose "Manage" from the menu.
- On the left hand side column bar, under "Storage", choose "Disk Management".
- On the right hand side, if all goes well, you should see an item called "Removable Disk" or similar.
- If you see that, then it means Windows has picked it up but assigned it a drive letter that is already in use. All you need to do is right mouse click the drive, then choose "Change drive letter and path".
- Then chose a drive letter that is not in use. All goes well, you should now see it in Windows Explorer
