This aren't good news... if it's showing initial screen but touchpad not responding... was chosen bad firmware this way: if you installed VX858LE then your device is VX858 non LE and vice versa.
Try as much as you can pressing menu while you plug USB cable.
If this not work... open device and short-circuit flash memory pins with USB cable connected.
This always work!... just be calm and do thing with no hurry. Device must be opened by nails or you will damage case.
Locate carefully flash memory, normally a Samsung chip... with USB cable connected run the rounded side of a clip along pins until your hear the sound of your PC announcing connection. This will put your device in "rockusb" mode... then you can reinstall the firmware this time choosing a LE or nonLE, different to the one you install first... don't pay attention to version V2 V2 it doesn't matter for the moment.
