mark2010mark , the v9.xx firmwares are for the ATJ209* series chipsets. As your player was using v3.5.35, it means that your player has an ATJ2085 chipset instead. You can't use a v9.xx firmware for an older chipset.

In this case, the only option now is to try all the v3.5.35 firmwares in the downloads here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3535-dc15.html

If all of them do not work, try the v3.5.37 as well here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3537-dc16.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work, you'll need to try all of them (for your screen size) until you get one working with your player.
