I went browsing and found your site and also saw about the memory hacking. I was shocked to learn that the mp4 player I bought supposed to be 8gb in reality is only 1 gb!

God how stupid I am, I immediately emailed the seller but I don't think he will refund me as I already put the feedback , cause I didnt know about this fraud on mp4 players to be honest.

After formatting the player it is still not playing the videos, although when I open the folder on my laptop i can see them. Anyone has any tips please? Thanks and sorry for the long post.
First off, buying something and expecting it to be as advertised is not stupid. Just about everyone on this board has been scammed, so don't be too hard on yourself.

Second, if you paid through Paypal you can open up a dispute that the item is not as advertised. There is no guarantee you will get your money back that way, but it is worth a shot. If the seller offers a full refund in exchange for you shipping the item back at YOUR cost, don't do it. You won't see your money or another player again. A possible alternative is a partial refund and you keeping the player.

Lastly, like jo gobel said, you need to convert your videos first. There are a variety of converters, types of players, and size screens so if you could include a link, we might be able to help you play videos.

Welcome to the board.
