it might be possible to open the player and then from the backside of the connector push out the broken tip (if in fact the tip did break inside the connector) with a very fine tip item like a dental pick or something like that.
otherwise, you might be able to remove it by taking a thin piece of material, like a tooth pick, applying a very small dab of super glue on the tip, and placing it inside the connector and wait for it to dry, then remove the tooth pick and hopefully it stuck to the broken piece and comes out. and hopefully you dont put to much super glue on it and the spreads inside of the connector and causing the tooth pick to become stuck as well.
