ok , for some odd reason it works now, which means it may not work again in the future. I will probably need to get another usb cable because thats the most likely reason, its still a lose connection to the player.
I got some information about the memory chip and it said that mine might be a 1gb but i bought it becasue it was a 2gb. The properties says its two, but i know it can be hacked to show that. I guess i'll find out whether or not it is when ghost files start to appear.

Thanks again for you help, i reall appreciate it! I almost thought about throwing this one away and getting something diff. but i might stick with it.
