Absolutely scheming!

Perhaps i should include the seller's userid so that google or yahoo would pick up this thread and hopefully warn new buyers if they search for their userid.

100hitrate - Hacked players, read yellow fine prints at the bottom of ebay ad.

i'm still wondering what does the "Comp." in their ads mean.
"8GB Built-in Comp. Flash Memory"

Compatible?
Compromised?
Comp. i got you suckered! HAHA! ?

>> 2nd Gen. 1.5" Comp. 8GB MP3/MP4 player <<

Pretty amazing that these sellers would include all sorts of terms and conditions to avoid refunds. It's more like "ebay - the lucky draw site" and not an auction site.

Another question though, how much of the final bid price to differentiate between the "Fair", "Satisfactory", "Very Good", and "Excellent" qualities?

Pretty much even if you won it at $200, you'll still get a hacked 1GB player. If you question the seller after this, he'll probably say "Excellent" quality would need a bid of at least $500.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
