jd65,

Do you know what FORMAT the player was formatted with? Was it FAT, FAT32 or NTFS? How much storage does the player hold?

I know some players are fussy in the file system it needs to be formatted to. Some require FAT and some FAT32 only and this might be the cause of the problem.

When you plug in the player into your computer, right mouse click the drive that appears for the player, choose "Properties" then have a look for "File System" that is displayed. Is it FAT, FAT32 or NTFS?
