It does do the same with mp3 files. I haven't experienced it with video playback, but I think that's because the sound only occurs when switching from track to track. Most videos are just one long file.

I will try another pair of headphones, but I doubt that's it. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of software/firmware issue.

Does anyone know if there have been any firmware updates for the S5 yet?
