First of all I hope I am posting in the correct secton, if it isn't in the correct section mods feel free to move the thread.
Basically....
I have got a new black 2GB "MP34" player, which looks identical to the iPod nano. My sister also got one, but from a diffrent place - they look exactly the same (just) and the menu functions are almost identical.
I checked the firmwares on both and I have a newer firmware version than hers - mine does look better so I was wondering if I could change hers to get to mine - however I have had trouble searching for my firmware on the internet.
I downloaded a program
s1fwx_v26 the other day and tried to extract the firmware using the guide - perhaps maybe I could have overwritted hers? Anyway, I found out that that specific cannot extract the firmware correctly as it comes up with errors.
Can anyone help me? To sum it up I have a better version firmware and I want my sister to have the same one as me... and I need help on how to do it.
