Hopefully.

You're right, apple's price cuts are the reason why people are jumping at their products. They've been around for quite some time and have centers everywhere, people know they'll get good support if they have problems with apple products.

Meizu's problem is that their target segment is people that don't just want an average portable media player, but that also want style, functionality, good battery life and good sound. And all these translate into a higher cost. Their products are competitive in their price range, but the fact that Meizu is a small company and not well-known outside of China makes their job a lot harder.

I will buy the M8 when it comes out as i need a new phone, and an unlocked iphone is still expensive as shit here. Unlocked phone + dual SIMs sounds like a winner to me.

Also, it'll be running windoze mobile. Which will make for a load of bugs (hope they'll squash most of them till the release) but also awesome extension and theming abilities.

I believe that the wait will be worth it. I hope i'm not mistaken.

I miss my Meizu M6SL... Currently rocking a Sony Ericsson w595 on Samsung in-ear phones. Does fine, but it's not a chipod...
