Yes, there is. In "Advanced settings", in "Resize method" select "add borders". This way, if the movie's aspect ratio is different than the aspect of your player, the movie won't get cropped, but resized proportionally to the specified width, and then expanded vertically with black borders, so it's height is equal to the specified height. For our RockChip based players, "Keep aspect" does not work, because the movie resolution must be equal to the player resolution.

hi lokster, many thanks for your tool, before using it i must apply 2 conversions (from flv to avi and then aviconverter) to convert flv file for my rockchip player, and without drag&drop, loading one file at once... was very boring, really great tool.
but... i have a problem, many flv files don't resize correctly!
I have 0.53 version, and tried all 3 resize methods, but nothing.
The video below for example, source video is 320x262 flv file, i've setted vidrop with 224x176 resolution (only resolution suitable for my player), Mpeg2 audio (and other flv conversion goes fine with these setting):
- with pan&scan i obtain 214x176 output size
- with keep aspect and add border i obtain the same result, 224x184 output size
