tovmeod: I can't answer for Lokster in terms of additional ways to indicate progress however there are currently two ways to monitor progress.
You can tell which file is being processed by putting the mouse pointer over viDrop icon in taskbar lower right.
To see the progress on the current file click on the dos window viDrop icon on the taskbar and in this processing window it gives the % completed and the number of minutes remaining in the processing for that file.
I find the combination of these all I need for assessing progress. Is there something in addition to these that you would find helpful?
