I have the same disk error from a 2GB model bought less than one month ago.
My firmware is
MP3 PLAYER
LKC_9112_10
2007_03_16
9.0.50
2005_01_09
At present I have emailed the vendor (local with 100% feedback) and am awaiting a reply.
