Firstly thanks for the replies, Ceeesaar - yes thats my mp4 player, I have uploaded the two different firmwares that have been posted as possible firmwares.
One of them makes my MP4 plyer come alive and I got REALLY excited that it was fixed, when I connect it to my pc or laptop, the pc or laptop states that two devices have been connected (one CD drive and one disk drive). It was an 8gb hacked player, with a true 1gb capacity, from setup on the player, when I view memory, it states zero 0gb. if you try to play music, etc, it comes back disk error.
I can copy files to the mp4 from my pc and laptop and the files definately copy to the player, but from the player, it states 0gb and disk error.

Can anybody help me please, if there is something I'm doing wrong with the disk problem ?????
