Welcome to the board.
Two alternative video converting software you can are:
viDrop - free open-source converter for RockChip players
and
MPxConverter (Sunplus, Actions) v0.9 Win32
The most important thing you have to remember is you need to make the
video height by width size CORRECT so it plays on your player. Any other size, you will get the "format error" message.
