Nevermind. That's not the solution nor do I want it. I'll find a source of 2.5mm plugs.
BTW a 3.5mm male plug to 2.5mm female socket will greatly assist with my collection of useless connectors. If I were remotely interested in an adaptor, I'd need 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female
