I think I migh be that "other person". Nicholas is indeed correct. I am very happy with what I got for what I paid. I am sure there are more feature packed players out there for more money. If I had a load of cash I may have made a different choice but I still mantian for the money it was a good buy.

If you are looking to update firmware, use it to run your life, play games etc then it is certainly correct that this is not the device for you. I have a smart phone for all that and I was after an out and out media player. That is what I got.

I think it is a case of being aware of what you are getting and doing your research first. One thing I can tell you - forget any help from the manuals .
