Default Re: How can I write custom progs for my RK27SDK mp5 player?

I've been to sites like these:
http://s1fw.com/Rock-Chip/index.html

I"ve seen this:
http://s1mp3.de/tools.s1clone.html

I like the:
onda
teclast m55 or nationite
s:flo player

I have:
touchscreen, vid playback, pic playback, music playback, game playback

That seems to be everything these other players support also. What I'm asking here is how can I really determine if these other player's firmware will be compatible with mine. Do I need to open up my player and find a number? How do I check for "hardware compatiblitiy"?

Let's say I found a player that is "compatible" (even though I don't know what that means yet..) Is it simply a matter of copying that firmware where mine is and walla! OR: Do I need to use clone prog... what exactly does it do anyways...
