there is nothing writen on the battery
but I'll think about changing it
it has space for another batery but the space will be in L type
If I find some Li-ion cells and solder them in L type pack,
or make 1 bigger batt pack with more cells in parallel connection I'll get more capacity
The i-pod touch battery (which I've seen on pic) has 3 wires
that's for balancing the cells when charging
because the cells have their internal resistance and only the first cells will charge to the propper voltage
you can finf more info about li-ion, NiMh NiCd and Li-Po cells on the net
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT BATT IS NOT THE HIGHER CAPACITY, BUT THE CHARGER YOU USE, THE RIGHT CHARGING CURRENT, THE BALLANCING OF EVERY CELL and etc.
the capacity will make your player work longer
but the charger will increase your battery LIFE
for example my rockchip player's charger has siemens chip in its charger
AND SOMETHING MORE
there is samsung K9HBG0... memory chip inside the player i think it is SD type memory
also there is a free space for the same chip on the PCB
with the same pin type
may be if I find such memory and solder it I'll gain some memory
but the pins are very small and solder job almost impossible
I'll search info about such chips
there is also free space for camera or something else on the player but it will be impossible to mount a cam because it will need special firmware and oter chips to controll it
