Default Re: Ikawa IKA328FM dead, blank display - hard to find FW

Sorry for bumping this after 1+ month, just informing what happened with the player. As i have plenty of soldering skills (and in the end i could not find any suitable firmware, or how to "assemble" one), finally i got upset with the thing and dismantled it , as follows:

- LCD go to a BKS25056 board w/broken screen, working fine since then
- Plastic/metal case, battery & buttons also go to that same player
- Radio module... put it on a Rockchip player, replacing a bad one
- Samsung 2Gb flash chip is now on a IDE-flash module on a MiniITX board :P

As for the AK1025 chip (& other minor pieces), dunno if it's pin-compatible with ATJ20xx or similar, until then it's saved on my desk drawer... sure i will use them sooner or later, as i have right next to me a box FULL of bad players  that need repairing, got'em real cheap on a eBay-like site here in Chile...

Thanks lolita for all your help
