Hi willyman,

Have you done anything to your player before this problem happened or did it happen all of a sudden?

Also, has it ALWAYS happened or just suddently?

The three easiest things to try is:

1. Another USB port on your computer. Make sure you don't connect it to a USB hub as that probably won't have enough power to power your player as well as the hub.

2. Try another computer and see what happens.

3. Lastly, try a DIFFERENT USB CABLE instead. It has happened many times where the USB cable is faulty and produces this problem.

Try those and let us know of the result.
