The unit has no screws on the side at all. Closure is by internal clips requiring external pressure to be applied to the case to open.
There is a reset button hole (unmarked, requires paperclip or similar) on the back of the case.
I had taken a copy (using windows explorer) of the existing firmware before the bricking but it's in folder format on my HDD rather than a single file format that the firmware installation tool that I have found (here, again) expects.
So, I may have a copy of the firmware - are there any tools available which would allow me to install this copy onto the unit?
