I’ve got such a "hacked" 8GB iPod that didn’t work well (got disconnected from PC every few seconds so it was not possible to transfer files) so I just tried to overwrite its firmware (it was showing the below info as version:
MP3 PLAYER
TJD_1322_20
2007-11-26
9.1.52
2005-01-09
and in the Upgrade Tool:
Device name: XINTAI MP3 Player
Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd.
Version: 9.1.52
but now (after using 9.0.42 firmware
http://mympxplayer.org/here-df425.html ) it seems to be completely dead - LCD display won’t turn on and Upgrade Tool shows “Device not connected” - please help.
