here is a small tip

now the player is abck and running and you have the drivers installed

1. make a backup??

2 in the restore kit folder is a small file called "setup.rkw", copy this to the root of the player and leave it there

now, when, and yes, when, your player dies again, as my chap player does every few days all you need to do is plug the player in and windows will automatically see the hidden partition, just format it and copy over your saved files

this works for me, now when the player dies i do not need to run and tools, just plug in, format and copy .. 2 mins
It's a good tip, but the player could die only if you modify the firmware, so it's good expecially for modders
