but why bother writing code for a chip that is less powerful, especially an emulator of pdf reader,

you are right if you are happy and its working, but for me they were not good enough, inflexible movie formats, no playlists support, no album art support, no music sorting, these are the features i wanted, low memory sizes, i wanted 8 and 16 gb

for all the hours you could spend on coding an emulator you may as well do it for a chip that has more power at least, and for $50 you can get a 8gb 27 series to start work on

desides an emulator on these is surely useless considering the button layouts, lack of buttons etc

if you wan to get into programming chips, rockchip is really not the way, look to ADI or ingenics chinachip as they are a lot more open about their systems and emulators and stuff is already underway for those as they can actually be worked on
