First of all, my player RK2608 is not a touch screen - and has 7 buttons :
Up, Down, Left, Right, Play, A~B, M - like Sega has 7 buttons - Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, C
(8 if count "Pause" button", but you can just set holded "Play" button for 3 seconds as "Pause")
So, the same number of buttons, no any lack!
Secondly, about power of processor, remember that Sega has 23MHz,
but RK2608 has 200Mhz, like a lot of PocketPCs !
And I want to try to bring to my player functions like PocketPCs have!
Don't forget that buy a Rockchip player is twice-trice cheaper then PocketPC!
Thirdly, about new players, I think it's much more harder to
create emulator for touchscreen than for player with buttons!
Forthly, my player has 4Gb flash + 2Gb MicroSD = 6Gb!
So no lack in memory!
Also I'm always wearing a small case with MicroSD cards,
and can change cards with ease!
