Ok, here is the issue. I have an innovative technology itvp-665 2 gig with video camera built in PMP. It came with conversion software aviconverter 2.0. I am running windows 98 and the software is not compatible. I have other brands of software. i will list them if it helps. Mediacoder, pocketdivx, ace video workshop, winavi, stoik video pack, xmpeg, dr divx, allok video to mp4, allok video to ipod, pazera mp4 to avi, and quite a few others. I can not seem to get an avi video to play on my player, every time i get "file format error". From what i read this is a rockchip chipset in this thing. I have tried xvid avi, divx avi, xvid mp4, and many types of mp4 outputs. From what i understand it has to be avi or mp4 files on it. When i run gspot on a file outputted from the camera on the PMP i get this setup.

I installed the new xvid codecs, new adcmp codecs, k lite codec pack, gordian knot codec pack, wmv 9 codecs and so on.

This is telling me it is using an xvid codec for video and mp2 for sound on the avi conversion. I have tried at least 100 times to reproduce the setting but get an error every time. I even tried to reproduce the mp4 output mjpeg with mp4 container with msadcpm audio and it wont work. The bitrates, 320x240, and everything and it wont work. I know it is a cheap chinese knockoff but it should work.


Can someone point me in the right direction to get these videos working? Any idea on software settings that will work. I have been trying day and night for 4 days and end up banging my head.
