I finally got some free time to do the shortcircuit thing and get the player in ADFU Mode today. I flashed a few full firmwares and got the updater to see it in normal mode.
I got ahold of a cd with the player's firmware (someone had an identical one) and after making the player to be recognised (still with white screen) i managed to flash the provided firmware with a different version of MP3 Player Utilities, 4.18, that was provided with the cd.

Now, i got the hourglass going on like usual... but it just restarts over and over again before booting into the menu.
Also it's not recognised as a portable flash player by the pc. To reflash it i'd prolly have to re-enter in ADFU mode...

Any suggestions?

I checked the site you provided... i can't download anything from there... i don't know why.

But since i have the partial firmware on the cd would it be possible to make it into a full firmware with the help of another different one maby?
Where can i upload the firmware and maby the 4.18 version of MP3 player utilities?
If my player is dead i might as well help others not do the same mistake...
