I just got my first mp5 player today, a Diel Rhapsody for those familiar with the brand... The manufacturer claims that the screen is 320x240, but after a bit of a testing I found out it's actually 400x240 and I even got videos working in it with that resolution, pretty nicely even.

First of all I'd like to thank the creator of ViDrop and this great community, reading a few threads sure helped me out in a couple of things.. And this program especially is something I couldn't now live without.
However, I am having problems with certain videos, have a look:
Click the image to open in full size.

As you can see, the original video is stupidly in 4:3 format even if it the actual image is really 16:9, which is just the way I want it. Now with the different resizing methods I can get the image either stretched wide or then I can preserve the aspect ratio but have the image surrounded by black boxes from every single direction.

So the big question is: Can I crop the image in viDrop to get the result I'm looking for? I'd love to know if it's possible since I've got many video files with this little annoying problem.

Thanks in advance, I'll be looking forwards to some answers.. Even if the answer were a strict no.
Same problem, but when playing video, push "m"(aka menu button), and menu pops up, and there you'll can select between 16:9 and 4:3, it should help
