Another ONDA for the collection…
The VX525 was bought only because of the possibility to play some Flash games. I was reading about the player and getting few users’ reviews to decide if it worth a try or not, and here it is at my hands, now…
The touch screen is quite lazy, but with time and patience you will learn how to use it. And I do prefer to use the Nintendo DS Touch Pen instead of the ONDA Pen.
The UI is really nice with the big icons. I like the way they made this thing, and probably would be nice if the factories can take a look on it and learn how to build a nice and simple UI.
To be honest, I wouldn’t use this player to watch videos (as it has a little (!) 2.8” screen) and you need to resize every video to bring it into the screen resolution, 320 x 240 pixels. And the battery will be drained as a drunken guy will dry a bottle of beer…
The Audio is quite good; I have no problems with this feature. I have nothing special to say about that, because if I want to hear music, I will use the S:flo or M6 SL.
Recently the moderator maderin1 linked on mp4nation forum a huge pack with 85 games, all with English titles and almost everyone working well. That was the main reason to get the player, and I’m having good time just playing around with all the stupid games. If you’re looking for some fun, but not the expensive players, this is your choice! You cannot play the most intricate games, but to the ones who love bejeweled, snake and tetris (just like me) this player rocks!
I bought this one (again) from
www.mp4nation.com and I need to say this store have the best customer service I ever saw! It will always be my first option to buy a player.
