Small problem. The numbers off the flash chip don't start with K9. It is a samsung chip, but is a K4 (according to samsung, classified as sdram)
If I'm reading it right, it's either K4S161622D-TC80 OR its K4S1G1622D-TC80
the K4S1616 would give it a 16m density X16, I'll have to assume that means 256 megs, definitely not right as I put a movie on it that's over 700 megs. the K4S1g16 would give it the 16 gigs it was advertised as. The problem with that is after I formatted the disk, it only shows just under 8 gigs usable, and the other 8 gigs are constantly full according to windows.
