I found a serial number printed in dotmatrix on the upper side of the screen: TGS1 77SH00 071014
This is the only one I could find.
And I had noticed that if I switch it on, or when I plug it into the USB, the screen goes bright white for a couple seconds, and then goes pitch black again like if the player were off.
