SQEEEK, please, can you explain what you mean with 'set it to only let the 'normal' partition show up'? How do you do that?

I went from having a problematic mp3 player to have a piece of metal Don't want to dismantle the player, I tried but seems hard and don't want to end with the pieces of my hands if it can be solved by software.

What can I do to fix the problem? Please

Firmware is:
2008/09/05
9.5.54
QS_AK2025
2008/04/23
Sorry I didn't explain it very clearly the first time, i was kind of tired. i'll try again.

In the disk partition tool, drag the slider all the way to the right.
Then format your device. (make sure you select 'full' format) Now, when you plug it in, it should have a big disk and a little disk. The big should be about 7900mb, and the little disk should be about 17mb. Put an mp3 file on the little disk, and see if the player will find it. Let me know what you find out, and i'll go from there.
