Humm, it seems you may actually have a corruption in the disk itself. Try running a scan disk on the drive and see if that helps fix your problem. Or you can run a check disk with the repair and fix option and see if that fixes your problem.

A virus would normally do far worst things on your computer than just affect your MP4 player, it would affect your whole computer more.

Let me know if you need help with doing a ScanDisk or CheckDisk and I can post help on that.
