I bought a 4GB iPod nano clone off ebay from a HK seller a couple of years ago, and it turned out to be hacked (tricked Windows into thinking it has more memory than it really has). As soon as we tried to fill it up with songs it froze and wouldn't do anything since. Got RMA from seller to send it back but never heard from, then seller disappeared from ebay. Didn't know about this place back then or I'd try to recover it.
Risky purchase in my opinion.
