My 8GB MP4 (bought from China) turned out to be 2GB.
I have spent the last 3 evenings trying various fixes to this problem of Disk Error... which I caused in the first place by following someones internet advice on how to get XP to show the correct disk size! I had found that when I exceded 2GB of music/video files the data would become corrupt.
The post from terceslil worked like a charm........ however,
1. H2test would only show 8GB on my player
2. I went through the process a few times before I got it to work..... I adjusted the slider on the MP3 Player Utilities to ever increasing values until it worked. I think 6201MB was the lowest value that worked. That left me with 1.91GB once I had completed the process.
