It could be that the USB cable is faulty so it's not charging your player and that might also explain why your player is not powering up as well. Try a different USB cable as well to see if that helps and connects to your computer.
If you can't get it to connect or even show anything up on the screen of your player, then it's most likely dead
. You can give the article "Recover a Dead Player" guide to see if that helps relive your player. In the meantime, I think you should initate a dispute with Paypal to try and get your player refunded or a replacement player from the seller.....
