Did you ever succeed in finding the correct firmware for this?
As far as I can tell, my player has a AU3152 from
::: ALCOR MICRO, CORP. :::. This is different from what you quoted but suspect this may just be rebranding. My specs are identical to those of the player you mentioned and I have the same symptoms alas.
