Take a look at some of these and see if the firmware there can help:

MyMPx.org - Rockchip Firmware
MyMPxPlayer.org - Rockchip Frmware
Skmp3.com (registration required) - Search on RK2706 Firmware
mydigit.cn - but you also have to register
