I have tried the recovery guide on shorting the pins of the chip but it doesnt work. The chip is Hynix HY27UT088G2 with a 1 GB flash memory. It is commonly sold here in the Philippines. The brancd is SONY which is fake and it has a silver metallic case and expandable memory slot.
