It seems that the ALI chip you mentioned ... an article is discussed here:

If you go down to the last post in the page, the firmware link is given by "

But I don't know if the firmware had worked for the problem posted by "
arm" on that page.
I will try and contact more people in this and other forums in China to find out the right firmware.
