Hi, knowing that it's a rk27xx player is maybe as much as one can. - You are suggesting that these Chinese mp3 players have no more known distinction that can help anyone later to update firmware or what? I am just asking to be sure. Is that the case that they do not have a name and generation as ipods? Or there are thousands of different rk27xx that use basically the same firmware?
About that battery thing- how would you open that player, when there are no screws? just curiosity, I will let it do at some service center
